I dunno, anyone else see this? Apparently it's a hybrid of S. 'Leah Wilkerson' x S. 'Brook's hybrid'.

So would the flower be even taller than that? Or would it be done before those tall ones grew?

I would guess it would be taller. There's not many pictures of this hybrid. Mainly because the owner has promised that he will never distribute, or sell it.

Jeez, and I thought "Doreen's Colossus" was tall:

I'll bet it's for labeling the flower crosses. :)

I was thinking that myself, plus the pic is taken at about waist height making the plant look taller. I would like to see a tape measure lined up next to it as verification of height. I'm not saying it's not a big plant, but I don't think it's as big as it's being represented.

They say it can produce traps up to 145 cm. As Panman and Chef said, there's really no way we can verify that. :x

That's not what we said. We said that forced perspective is making the plant appear larger than what it actually may be. I suggested that a tape measure held next to the plant would be able to show a measurement of it's actual height.
Your posts suggest that you know the grower,

, so I would suggest you ask for another pic, staged just like this, only with the addition of a tape measure to show the height from the rhizome to the top of the hood.

I'm not sure if it was the original thread or not, but I've actually seen this exact picture posted on another forum at some point along with the no distribution stuff. I'm pretty sure OP just saw the same thread I did and has no relation to the grower.
