Hi, I was wondering what soil I should use for a Genlisea (specifically Stylidium graminifolium). Can I just use soil composed of Perlite, Vermiculite, and #20 Silica Sand? How should I water it, and how often?

Unless I'm just really missing something here, Stylidium != Genlisea. They're both entirely separate all the way up through the Order level. That said, I don't know how different the requirements are, but I've been growing Stylidium debile in 1:1 peat:perlite in a tray with a fairly constant water level around .5" for a couple months and it's done very well.

According to Savage Garden by Peter D'Amato, "They prefer waterlogged conditions, so I prefer to grow them in undrained containers 6 inches deep. The soil should be pure sphagnum peat moss, or peat with some sand, or long fiber New Zealand sphagnum moss."

*I am asking about Stylidium.. I was also thinking about Genlisea so I messed up writing the post

Y'know you can edit the title and change the "genlisea" to "stylidium", if you want.
