I found a brand of lights that I have been using the past 2 years from amazon. They were unavailable when I needed more so I went to yescom which everybody seems to prefer. But they were also out of white so I bought blue white thinking there wouldn't be that big of a difference. There's a big difference. Should the more blue lights be used for different things? Like is blue better at germination or coloring?

The pictures are of what I usually buy.Image

My 2 different switchable photo spectrum lights refer to Blue white as best used for seedlings. Also I’ll say I accidentally left the Red white on for a few hours and had a few plants under it produce flower stems in late November.

I've always wondered if spectrum affects CP plants growth (not photosynthesis, but the way they grow).

Good to know. I've had some sarr seedlings and mature binatas under mine for a few weeks and haven't noticed any difference than under my white led and grow florescent tubes.
