after discovering why my venus flytrap is not closing, my venus flytrap started to die. so i removed the ones with a black colored root because i searched it up on google and it’s basically dead. i managed to get 1 of each venus flytrap from my plant and from my brothers.
any suggestions for this plants to grow
healthily?
(im using a fish tank light for the lighting)

So you are trying to save it by Leaf pulling??? :?: Flytrap roots are naturally black. Only if the rhizome is black, it is dead. :?

Yea, VFT roots are naturally black. Sometimes VFT traps will not close because of dormancy or not enough warmth. Saving the VFTs from leaf cuttings isn't always reliable.

Fish tank lights are fine as long as they have blue, red and white. I've used a fish tank light before for my venus fly traps.
