Google search for pics, easiest way to see them.
As to easier, I haven't tried micrantha, but when I had carbarup I had nearly 100% germination sown on chopped LFSM.

With pygmies, three to four inches. You want to sow them in a pot that they will stay in their entire lives. They can be transplanted but it is highly recommended to slip pot them, do not remove the old media. They send down a taproot that is very delicate and will easily break. If it breaks, it's usually lights out for that plant.

I guess you haven't found the Carnivorous Plant Photofinder yet? It's a great resource. http://cpphotofinder.com

They're both easy, but Carbarup may perhaps be slightly easier as it is a bit bigger and I find the bigger ones easier.

When it comes to keeping them alive, I've had them all growing in similar conditions with no trouble really. It's the dormancy that can cause grief.
