Yes, it is the same plant. I have also noticed it has been looking a lot more like the FTS pics! I didn't check on it for a few days and when I checked on it yesterday, there was a trap so deep in color it looked black on the inside  , I must be doing something right.
It's those LED's! Looks goods, curious to see how they do over an extended period of time! Be interesting to see the results under different LED lighting conditions.

My $0.02 cents here. Instead of relying just on par readings, you should try to calculate DLI which is essentially PAR combined with how many hours the light is on per day. Venus flytraps like a dli of 20-30 which is quite bright. If you know the par your plants are getting then you can convert it to dli using an online conversion tool, just hit up google and you'll find a bunch.

That should give you a much better idea of how much light your plants are getting compared to how much they need.

Hope that helps!

@davinstewart I actually haven't paid attention to PAR, I would but I don't want to shell out the money to buy a 200 dollar PAR reader, so at the moment I'm just trying to improvise a way so that my flytraps get more color.

Haha, that is really red. Is your plant seriously 1 inch from the lights? That thing's gonna start developing tan lines :)

Lol, it's more like 2 inches...

If you look at the petioles, they have reddish -black streaks going through the middle :D

I was pleasantly surprised the other day when I saw how red my b-52 got.

Really is a beautiful cultivator.

I wanted to ask you a question...

Your plants always look so nice (at least according to pics)! Do they color up like that all by themselves outdoors or with the help of lights?

You know, it's a mix. I have most outside in southern Georgia, but also inside under Marshydro 300W. What I found is different cultivators color up under the sun, where others do better under lights.

I'm with you, man. My Polish Dracula never did well under grow lights and actually looked LESS red under them, whilst my 'B52' has probably been a fan favorite of grow lights.

The whale is one that colors up for me under lights very nicely.

Interesting, That looks amazing! I can see what you mean by different cultivars reacting differently between outdoor sun and indoor lighting. I have mine indoors under LED's and they all look great, however, some cultivar colorations differ from what results others are getting outdoors.
