I really need some advice on this guy. It is seed grown from seed I got from the seed bank in 2020. All of its siblings and all of the other filiformis that I have are hunkered down in tight little hiberniculum. This wise guy is still throwing up new leaves. Do I treat it as a tropical and bring it inside under the lights or leave it outside and hope it goes dormant?

Yeah, it looks like that one has a good dose of Florida Red in the mix. I would flag it as "subtropical" and bring it indoors.

Even the tropical ones will go dormant given the right conditions, they have just evolved to not need it. They'll resist, but they'll eventually go dormant.

Do filiformis floridiana seeds don’t need to be cold stratified correct?

Mine didn't need it. The adult plants bloomed like crazy all summer long, and I had seedlings popping up everywhere.

All mine are going dormant, and I live in sunny hot Florida. Assume the hours of daylight are what help jump start it into dormancy.
