:) Very nice plants. My plants also started turning red, but they don't look quite as beautiful as yours. Quick question: why do flytraps color up so much around winter time?

Many studies have reported that the accumulation of anthocyanins near the plant surface filters light and improves photoprotection. However, the results of this study showed that the main role of anthocyanins accumulation in M. micrantha during winter was to increase both antioxidant capability and tolerance to low temperature.

This is also the case with Venus flytraps. So when the temperature cools down, the plants "red" up.

It's been cool here but not ridiculously cold. We've had a couple nights that were very close to frost level, but it usually doesn't drop below 45°F / 7°C this time of year.
