Got these Utric calycifida couple months ago and looks like it's finally starting to acclimate as it's starting to flower and grow leaves with it's characteristic purple veins. My question is, does anyone know about seeds for this utric? How to pollinate or is it even self-fertile? Can't seem to find too much information

I don't know the answer but I wanted to thank you for posting those photos. Mine only have leaves and I didn't know what the flowers would look like. When I went to check on my plant this morning, I saw some flower stalks and maybe I am a few days away from seeing the flowers.

Nice! It'll probably start non-stop flowering now. It started with one for me, then they just kept coming~

The flowers do look really pretty and after a couple days I always find the flower intact but dropped off from the stem (not sure if it's good or bad)...
By the way, I love how full your leaves are! Just wondering, what kind of conditions do you keep yours in?

Sorry I can't help you with this, but

... I thought that was a houseplant for a second before realizing it was a terrestrial utric! Aren't the traps in the roots, and they catch little baby parasites in the soil? I've never grown then so it would be helpful to know lol.

Read somewhere that calycifidia can be self fertile but that help is needed. Supposedly, if you shake the flowers, some varieties can set seed. I have not tried very hard to get seed from mine as they reproduce so easily.

I keep mine on the second rack of my grow tent - so they are not in full light. I tray method water them.
Specific parameters in the attached screenshot. The lights are Mars Hydro TSW-2000, about 1/3 way of maximum brightness, and as I said, these are on 2nd rack, under some other water trays so the plant gets indirect light. I read somewhere they prefer non-direct light.

Regarding size, it seems to me that the ones that I grow wetter develop larger leaves. I grow some of mine in recycled plastic containers and I have also noticed that the plants growing below the media level but exposed to light, grow larger leaves and faster. I attribute this to what must be a higher humidity but slightly lower light level for those plants below the media surface.
