Trying to thin out the collection a bit. I have the following items if anyone is interested:

Drosea capensis (3) - $8 each unpotted, $10 potted (+ shipping)
Nepenthes sanguinea 'orange' (2) - $15 each unpotted, $20 potted (+ shipping)
Nepenthes 'unknown' - $10 unpotted, $15 potted (+ shipping)

The cape sundews are growing like weeds, and I just have too many. They're currently in 3" square pots, flowering regularly (if I let them).

The Nepenthes sanguinea was my first nepenthes. Both plants were taken from basal shoot cuttings. Rooted well, and producing pitchers (each has a 7-8" pitcher). It's a very hearty plant, and good to learn nepenthes off of, if you're looking for an intro plant. Leaves are a little burnt as it keeps growing too fast into the light. But healthy plants. One is growing in a spaghnum mix, the other is growing in 100% coconut chunks.

The Nepenthes 'unknown' was an error that a seller sent me on accident. I potted it up and gave it 3 weeks to make sure it's healthy. It's tossing off new leaves, but no pitchers yet, so I can't ID it.

The photos help. Yeah, I’d say those orange guys have a bit more than some burn, but they look OK. If I just didn’t buy some exact unrooted cuttings recently, I would have gotten them from you.

Lol, yeah, the two Sanguinea 'orange' plants definitely have some burn on them. They seem to be a little more light sensitive than just about any of the other 16 nepenthes I have. I've found they do best in an indirect light window, and not growing under the grow lights I have right now. It's such a vigorous grower that once I move it out of the light a bit it throws off a new leaf right in the light and gets a little burnt.

Both the Cape Sundew and the Sanguinea 'orange' would be fantastic introduction plants. Both are vigorous growers, and very forgiving of less than optimal conditions (light or water). Just looking for a good home for them.

How high is the humidity for your sanguinea? Mine only pitchers in the winter so I believe it is something to do with humidity.

Well I hope in that case I don't hear from you, as I'd prefer yours to root up nice and healthy.

Current humidity averages around 80-85%. It usually gets down to around 70% during the day, sometimes less if the AC or heat is running, and I bump it up at night, probably close to 90% or so. That's not for the sanguinea though, it's for some of the other nepenthes I have that are a little more sensitive (hamata x edwardsiana, veitchii). When I first got the sanguinea in early 2019 I didn't do anything to modify the humidity of the area it was growing in, so it was ambient indoor humidity. Probably 30-50%. It pitchered just fine in that environment though. Attached is a photo a few months after I got it, and it was pitchering fine. I've found light to be a larger impact on nepenthes ability to pitcher than humidity, although that's anecdotal at best.

I might be interested in that sanguinea in January. I'm still deciding on some other plants for sale, but if I decide against them, I'll buy your sanguinea. If it's still up for sale, PM me and I'll give you a shipping address and zip code.
