Should I Bury My Drosera Capensis's "Stem"?#391076

I have a cape sundew (typical) that I'm thinking about repotting sometime soon. It has a sort of long stem with leaves only at the top.
Could I bury the stem underground?
Will it rot?
( I know this is sort of minor since it doesn't really affect the plant's health, though)

You can cut the stem and cover it and you may get some strikes.

On another note, can you see why you are posting every question 4 times?

I usually bury my Capes to right below the growth point when transplanting.

Bury the thing, it'll likely grow back in spades.
