Hello all,

It's been about 3 (almost 4) months since my drosera seeds (Capillaris, Capensis and 'Hercules') first germinated, but they look more like 1-month old seedlings according so some online pics. They are growing extremely slow, even under a yescom and getting fed dried blood worms powder once every 2 weeks.

The feedings appear to slow the growth instead of helping the seedlings leaf jump.

Are there any other methods to help them get bigger in a shorter period of time? All opinions/options/replies are gratefully appreciated

Are the seedlings very close together? My sundew seedlings only take off once I separate them a bit. I read somewhere that drosera seedlings release hormones that prevent other plants from growing nearby (allelopathy).

No, most of mine died off leaving the remaining ones maybe 1/4 inch away from one another.

@MaxVft what made them die off? That's probably what's holding the remaining ones back...

Mine first germinated in late May, they’ve finally picked up a head of steam this month. Hopefully yours will do the same.
