I have been growing this one for a couple of years, but I've never shared any in the country, as there were no requests made to me for them. I was sending the seeds overseas. Most Byblis aquatica seed that is usually available are either a "robust form", or a "typical" form which I have both of as well. I'm happy to say I sent the first couple of packs to folks here on the forums this week, so I hope to see them around more in collections as these individuals try for seeds as well one day!
This is a full maroon form, with an occasional green spot here and there where new growth emerges, (it doesnt stay around long) but they always turn maroon even in weaker lighting. They're a nice addition, and you won't find them anywhere, as these are one of a kind and truly rare.
