You mean that is not their true purpose? Why else would they provide the integrated humidity domes?

I know they should most likely be a lot bigger but these guys are about a year and a half old. I had them under grow lights for too long but for the past month or 2 they have been thriving in the sunshine.

I shared them in a facebook group once when they were smaller and people had a lot to say about what they looked like- from mexican casserole to something I was getting ready to roll haha

I have not transplanted them at all yet. I planted them the same day as I harvested and it only took like 2 weeks to see signs of life if I'm remembering right. They are just slooooooow growers!

We are just finishing up our first week of the contest. Here are the current standings.
sundewd 10
Nepenthes0260 7
Panman 7
optique 6
CPhunter101 5
Apollyon 5
DragonEye 4
tracieh 3

sundewd is ahead with a pretty good lead, but the leader in these contests can change quickly. Plus, I am sure there are more seed grown plants out there waiting to have their time in the limelight.

Which brings me to another topic. A little bird told me that some people get intimidated by the gorgeous pictures of plants that are shared in our contests. Because of that, they don't submit an entry as they feel that they cannot win. Please, allow me to encourage you to submit your photos, regardless of what you think are your chances of winning. While the prize is absolutely a great part of the contest, an equally important part is sharing your experiences with the community. You never know, what you feel might be a pitiful picture might strike a chord with the community. Plus, I can guarantee that you will get at least 1 like on your post.

So, let's see your CP kids!

If only I had sown seeds from the beginning. Haha, I only started about a year ago. All your seedlings look great! My capensis seedlings are taking forever to grow

This plant is 2 years old, 3 this winter. This pitcher is 20” tall, I had a spring/ summer pitcher on this plant 29” tall (with the red on the exterior extending further down the tube). The cross by Michael Sprouse. A Leah Wilkerson by either Joanna or Garçon Rose. The plant seems to be vigorous so far!
