I bought my cephalotus about 3 months ago, a young plant with juvenile traps, applied aome foliar MAXSEA fertilizer and nothing really changed for 2 months until it grew a bigger trap that kept growing.

I know cephalorus tend to do that but i've never seen such an improvement, usually the traps get larger and larger each time but not from 0 to 10.

Could that be the effect of the ferilizer?

Nice job! That is kinda how cephalotus rolls. Juvenile pitchers get a little bigger then a massive jump. The crown will put out adults now and it'll fill the pot fairly quick. Fertilizer probably played a role but not really on the size jump from juvenile to adult. More with it getting reserve energy and a more complex root system to justify the larger pitcher imo anyway.

Seeds received. Thanks Chef and donors!

Counting to infinity.
