I read on some posts that Vigoro Peat moss is CP safe. Is the PH of Vigoro peat moss right for growing CPs?

Yep, completely fertilizer free/safe.

Some r/SavageGarden Redditors also use it for Sarracenia.

If you can find it, you should purchase a bale of Premier or Sunshine peat moss.
I feel like it has more peat moss than 2 bags of Vigoro peat moss.

I liked "Lambert" Peat Moss in the bales. Some of the other brands have a lot of extra junk they scoop up with it but I remember that was good stuff. Unfortunately I couldn't find it again :/

Early this spring, I bought a 3.8 cubic foot / 107 liter bag of SunGro Black Gold peat moss from Ace Hardware. I like it better than Premier, a lot less debris in SunGro. I still have about 1/3 of it left.

I wish I could find the Theriault & Hachey growers-grade peat moss that Matt uses, but there are no distributors in my region.
