Hello all,

Title says it all! What are your guys' favorite Carnivorous Plant genus's?

Wanna thank @CPhunter101 for this idea and can't wait to see what everyone picks!

Probably nepenthes. Sarracenia are a really close second. Drosera and fly traps are also dear to my heart though.

I'm torn between sarracenia and nepenthes.
Although, nepenthes are usually more unique, ornate, and generally cool looking.

Btw, what's a Heliamorpha?

In my personal opinion, it's VFTs.

Neps are also very close but I don't have nearly as much experience with them.

VFTs because they are what got me in into growing carnivorous plants. My first one died when I grew it for a fairly long time as a beginner but my new ones are doing great!

For me its Nepenthes, with VFT's in a very close second.

Well, @MaxVft, would then have to add Cephalotus, Darlingtonia, Brocchinia, Drosophyllum, Genlisea, etc.
I think keeping it simple with the major genuses above is the best we can do.

I like VFTs because my non-plant friends are always interested in them when I post photos on the internet. No one ever seems impressed by my sarrs or sundews Or maybe I don't grow very impressive sarrs or dews. Anyway, I care a lot what my friends think of my plants

Lol, same exact thing when I started this hobby. I didn't like sarrs, sundews or really any other CPs(I was cocky, ok ) until I started collecting and understanding them.
