Dead or Dormant?

I've lost a couple filiformis to crown rot this year and I don't intend to lose more...
Are these temperate drosera dormant or dying?

I got a better image of my filiformis.
Also, why are my cephalotus pitchers browning?
Are they going dormant or are they acclimating?

I am not a ceph expert, but mine did die back a few of the small pitchers when I first got it. The filiformis looks like it may be forming the winter but but it is really hard to tell. If you get more green forming up in there, then it definitely is.

Its got quite a bit of black, but also a bit of green...
What does the black mean? Stress, overwatering, underwatering?

I can't see any black in the picture and I haven't experienced anything like that myself. I do know that cephs are somewhat like flytraps in that they do not like soggy conditions. I have mine in a 5.5 inch tall pot and it sits in about 1/4 an inch of water which dries out before I water the plant again. It is also in a loose mixture of peat/perlite/sand in about equal amounts.

Woops, I meant the filiformis but yes, I think my ceph is just acclimating.
My filiformis is a bit black, and that is worrisome.

Yup, that's it. Crown rot again???
I just added a bit more water because my CPs in this tray seemed dry (my flytraps + traycii).
