I recently found a caterpillar-like pest in one of my VFTs, at first I saw what appeared to be spider webs at the base of the plant, when I went in with my tweezers to remove the web, this thing poked its head out, and soon as I pull back my tweezers, it quickly hides back into the dark corner. I was able to force it out eventually. I think it's nocturnal since the plants live on my desk and I see them all the time yet I've never seen this thing until today, and it clearly doesn't like light. anyone can help me identify it?

That is what I call a cut worm (I'm not sure of the proper term). They hide under the moss and will eat the leaves. I have managed them by finding and removing them. I have also used Captain Jack's, which is supposed to work on caterpillars but I am not sure if it did or not. I haven't seen any since then, but I didn't see a lot of them before, either.

These are nocturnal worms which munch on CPs.
They can easily be removed by using a pair of tweezers or your fingers.
After removing them, it's rare for them to come back.
