After being chewed open by what I presume was a wasp looking for water, my St. Gaya pitcher has now apparently been taken over by a spider setting up shop inside. Is this something I should worry about?

Nah, nothing to worry about at all. If you had thin delicate webs all over different parts of your plant that would be a different story.
