It's about to be spring here in Australia and I'm already seeing the first signs of growth in my plants. The first were the Sarracenias where some of them started to flower. Is it okay to let them flower?

Also, is it normal to see no growth yet in my Venus flytraps? I haven't seen any them shoot up a flower stalk yet.

Flowering doesn't put a big hit on a Sarracenia's growth.

Flytraps normally run a month or two behind the Sarracenia.

Let it grow if the plant is healthy. Sarracenias produce beautiful flowers, as opposed to VFTs that have admittedly quite boring flowers.
