It's no big deal, this for fun after all and learning that pineapples are apparently carnivorous to some degree is a treat in itself.

Gymnosperm would have to be a suitable answer,as after an entire hour of googling and wikipidea-ing,all I found was the word "Gymnosperm".

It is an angiosperm, and is technically capable of flowering, however in the wild it does not flower as in order to flower it needs certain hormones that it is not capable of producing enough of. If these hormones are artificially introduced to it it will flower.

Not carnivorous, but I heard that the pothos plant rarely flowers.

Ok, I will restart this topic and pick a new plant.

Hints:

1. It is known as one of the biggest Pygmy genera/subspecies in it's species.
2. It is carnivorous(obviously).
3. It forms a long 'stem' of petioled traps over time.

This one's too easy, drosera scorpioides.
