Looks good, but you might want to separate that cape and VFT before dormancy time comes.

Gotcha. Just wondering, have you ever considered using a peat moss blend for your VFTs? From what I understand it's cheaper then LFSM. At a hardware store near me I can get 60 liters (I think) for 11$.

I really would like to, as sphagnum moss also is a lot harder to pack around the plants. I don't find it at my local hardware stores, and my parents won't let me buy a big bale of peat and a big bag of perlite, even though its cheaper

Gosh darn parents  . I would recommend ordering a bag of premade soil online but that stuff is very expensive. Some of it on Amazon is 8$ for a quart.

Peat moss is definitely cheaper! I potted an army of CPs with just 1 bale.
You could try convincing your dad to purchase a bale if he's into gardening. I convinced mine by describing how peat moss would reduce the water bill...

I'm glad I saw this, the stuff I used to get on Amazon was getting really expensive over time. I swung by Lowes this Saturday and ended up getting 3 CU ft of peat moss for 5.99.

It was honestly really strange since it was one of the only stores in a decent radius that had it even though my father got the same stuff earlier in the season. Website said they had around 500 in stock though so I'm not sure why other stores didn't have it. It was called Premier Sphagnum Peat Moss if that helps any?

Do you have an Ace Hardware store in the area? The one near my house sells Sun Gro products; I really like their brand of peat moss.
