I just wanted to share my first success with CP propagation! :D

I took 2 leaf cuttings from my Drosera filiformis tracyi and kept them in well lit distilled water until plantlets formed (last photo I think). 2 weeks ago, I put them in pots of 50/50 peat/sand and I'm SO IMPRESSED with how fast these suckers are growing! The images of them in the pots are from today.

I've also had success with some D. Spatulata seeds from the seed bank, but the seedlings are still too small for my camera phone!

Wow! If you think these are fast growers, try doing Intermedia leaf pullings! I just bury mine under the soil next to the parent plant, and a week later I have 2 to 3 babies!

I'll trying that next! I've just been waiting on my Intermedia to get a little bigger, want to make sure she's happy under my care before I remove anything. So excited!

This is a cutting from a Marston Dragon that produced a bunch of hatchlings.

There isn't much to it.
1. Cut off a young, actively growing leaf.
2. Put it in a test tube.
3. Fill the tube with distilled water.
4. Put in bright light.
5. Wait until plantlets sprout and are big enough to handle.
6. Transfer to growing medium.
7. Gradually accommodate to normal humidity.

I don't know if this works for anything other than sundews, and not even all of them.
