KILL those hellspawn!
Nonsense! The wolves are great bug killers ... and will even do their part to keep recluse in check.

I made a big flytrap pot for my mother-in-law, and her plants feast on daddy long-legs. You see lots of closed traps with legs sticking out. They keep twitching for a day or two and then stop, kinda funny and gruesome at the same time.

Yes sir, you're right, they are a great benefit.
As long as they stay in the yard, they're fine. But if they come too close to the house, they succumb to the pesticide that my pest control contractor puts down (my wife is very apprehensive about anything with more than four legs). No sense in letting that nitrogen and phosphorus go to waste.

I've seen crabs small enough that a VFT could eat it, but I don't know if it would work. I'm sure the enzymes would be able to get into where the soft tissue is, but the crab might be able to simply claw it's way out.
I've seen some big ol' Wolf Spiders around here. I'll have to test my DCXL and B-52 when they get big enough.
