Bob named these plants Slim Snapper and Long Snapper. Slim Snapper has long, thin petioles like Spider and surprisingly large traps. Long Snapper has the longest petioles I've ever seen on a Flytrap; even the flower stalk was almost 2 feet tall!
The Slim Snapper and Long Snapper are part of a larger group of plants that Bob has called "the Snapper family," which also includes WIP Snapper (very large traps reminiscent of B52) and Big Red Snapper (also gigantic traps, very vigorous growth and good red color development).
The Flytrap Store is very pleased and proud to have been entrusted with the care, propagation and distribution of these great new clones and will do everything possible to ensure that they receive the attention and distribution they deserve. Development and propagation will probably happen this year, depending on Matt's (I mean, the Flytrap Store Tissue Culture Lab's) schedule, and the first small plants of some of these clones may be available late in the year or in 2011.
