Hello all
I bought a Rocket Farms "death cube" VFT today, and there were 2 divisions(Or 2 plants) that I potted up into separate pots in LFSM.
Never mind, let's just get to the point.
So, my question(hence the title)is a simple one:
Can I keep them under an LED grow bulb instead of a windowsill while I am acclimating them to the great outdoors?

I do my acclimating outdoors.
I start wit the plant on the North side of my house right next to the house.
It gets bright light but not direct sunshine.
Every few days I move it away from the house a little farther until it is in full sun.

Putting a plant on a window ledge under LEDs and putting it outside for an increasing time every day is not recommended by me for this reason.
The plant moves from inside temperature, humidity, and lighting to outdoor temperature, humidity, and lighting every day.
This is changing too many conditions back and forth, the plant can't adjust.
Plants don't like going inside and outside every day.

But maybe I am misunderstanding what you're suggesting.
How do you propose to acclimate your VFTs to outdoor full sun?

The way I plan to acclimate them is what you did not reccomend, which was keeping them under LEDs and doing 1 hour outdoors per day the first week, 2 for the second, etc.
I will try your method instead and see if it is more beneficial.

I started with just dappled sunlight where it got sun and partial shade all day long. I was more concerned about the heat since its been in the mid to upper 90's here. After about 2 weeks I set then in direct sunlight. They are all doing well and they all have new traps growing in. The smallest one is already starting to turn red.
