While the summer sun is hot and beating down on us, let's celebrate those glorious sun worshippers, the sundew. There is such a wide variety of sundews that I am sure we will be getting some great photos. Plus, I personally think that sundews are the most photogenic of all CPs.

So again, a quick rundown of the rules:
1. It must be your own picture
2. You can only submit one picture for this contest
3. Pictures shared in previous contests are not eligible
4. The winner will be the photo with the highest number of thumbs up votes
5. This contest is open internationally, although there will be an alternate prize for international winners

And check out what @Matt and Leah from The Flytrap Store are offering as our prize this month. FTS Big Behemoth!

Here is the description from the store website:
"FTS Big Behemoth is a nice, giant flytrap selected from our breeding stock here at FlytrapStore. Unlike most giants, which produce their largest traps in the spring, FTS Big Behemoth tends to produce large traps all year long and is normally one of the flytraps in our collection with the largest traps as the plants enter dormancy. FTS Big Behemoth is has a typical growth habit with upright growth in the spring and summer and low-lying growth in late fall and winter."

So let's see your dew laden, bug eating, sunlight sparkling gems of the CP world.

Nice picture. Thank you for sharing it. Are you sure it's a capillaris? It looks more like an intermedia.

Oh thanks for catching that, yes it's an intermedia  . I get mixed up a lot between the 2, and I will edit the post to say intermedia. Thanks for that!
