It arrived today, -Nepenthes macfarlanei Genting HL Seed Grown. It came from Jeremiah Harris, and looks very healthy to me. So looking forward to watching it grow.

What do you all think?

Nice nep! Just make sure not to overwater it (it seems to be soaked) and give it lots of indirect sunlight.
The beautiful pitchers are vitually untouched by the shipping.

Thanks, I really like it.
The packaging was amazing, It took forever to unwrap, untape it. One of the pictures was in it's own cup taped to the side. I do plan on adding a bit of LFSM to the top. But will like it dry a bit, the soil right now is very moist.

Nice plant congrats. I’m just curious tho for your first nepenthes what made you decide on that particular one?

I wanted one from Jeremiah, as it would be Colorado grown, wanted a HL as it would best match my location. I wanted something that would grow on a windowsill, east facing window. I wanted something small as I only had a small space. And I really like the looks of the Pitchers. This one seemed to match all my needs.

Congrats on your first Nepenthes!
I agree, the pitchers do look nice on it. I think this would actually be fit for my first Nep(I don't yet grow them), as I don't have much room left for plants outdoors and have yet to buy a proper grow light. Have fun growing it!
