My first attempt at growing anything from seeds. Sowed on 6/4. It was my first time rinsing soil and everything lol I prolly just washed out most the sand. I could have made it a little neater like smoother on top and what not but hey it worked. I count 3 so far. Vft Seeds and soil I bought from the flytrapstore so thanks Matt and Leah. My drosera seeds from the seed bank should be next.

I was just looking at my picture and I noticed there’s a seed against a piece of perlite and the root is going Into the air. It is at like 10oclock in the first pic. Should I try and tip it over somehow or just leave it?

Roots are known to have a "mind" of their own, which means that you should probably just leave the seed alone and the root will find it's way down.

Update on the vft seeds I bought from the store..11/11 sprouted. Definitely surprised me I figured 3 or 4 maybe since I made some rookie mistakes when I sowed them and it being my first time. Question tho if they are gonna be red will they be red even from the first phylondron? Leaves? Or will they be green and then the first real leaves be red?
