This white stuff is growing on some dahlias. Kinda looks like mold or something. Plant seems healthy any ideas what it is?

Looks like mealy bugs to me.

I agree, mealy bugs. If it is isolated, you can deal with them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. If it is more widespread, you will need to use an insecticide.

Alright that’s what I’ll do and it seems to only be on this plant so far. Thanks for quick responses

I always have a spray bottle filled with isopropyl for general cleanup. If I see mealies. I give them a good spraying. That kills both the adults and the eggs and larvae that hide in the crevasses of the leaves.

Cool beans, I'll keep an eye out for it.
