Hello marc and weclome to the forum!

Under perfect conditions, seeds can germinate within 2 weeks. I think it's normal for them to take 3 to 5 weeks. I have some in tissue culture right now that are just starting to germinate and they've been in there for 16 weeks.

Marc is one of my best friends in skool.
It takes about 3-5 wekk for seeds to germinate like matt said.
Matt is so good at answering questions. :D

Matt i have a question:My brother has some venus fly trap seeds and now its their 3rd wekk and 2 days and nothing has germinated is this normal?

Yes, this is perfectly normal. Sometimes it can take up to 5 weeks to see germination. The longest I've waited so far is actually about 10 weeks, but that was with seed in tissue culture. When I've sown them on peat moss, they usually start germinating in 3 to 4 weeks.
