Hello all and happy Independence Day,
I found a grow bulb.It is marked as "AgroSun Incandescent Grow light,60W".I researched it,and it seems like it is the same as a regular indoor light.I dont have a grow light anyways,and my window isn't doing much for my CPs,so I decided to give it a try.I put it in a chick lamp reflector that was sitting in the chicken coop,but we didn't need it anymore Cuz it is summer and the chicks are technically adults now.
Anyways,I put the fixture in my closet,put some drosera,drosera seeds,and some dionaea cuttings under it.Here it is: Don't let the pic fool you,as it is not white but more of a yellowish tinge.It also gives off an awful lot of heat,around 6 inches.
So I am asking,will this me suitable for my indoor CPs,or should I just trash it and buy a better light such as a yescom?

I just read some reveiws on the Agrosun grow light and most users say that the bulb doesn't last very long.
If you're willing to pay $13 every couple weeks, go for it.
You're probably better off with a trusted grow light like Yescom.

Yeah that's what I figured,I also read the reviews on amazon.I just wanted to know if it would be suitable for growing CPs.

You don’t need anything special. I grow most of my Flytraps and Drosera under led t8 bulbs from Walmart. They grow and flower just fine.
