I noticed this the other day, this hybrid has a rhino horn! I got this from Xanthoparmelia last year.
Too bad the other big pitcher got damaged, so I can't tell if this is a common occurrence or not. But there are more pitchers pushing skyward, so I'll find out later this season.

The unknown cross I have that is possibly part catsbei only puts them out on larger pitchers. I don't know if that's common, or where the trait comes from.

I have one of those too - S. Redman x flava v cuprea Chocolate Top

I don't see that trait in the pics of Redman online, so might be coming from the flava v cuprea in this case.
