We are pretty sure the nep seeds were sterile. Nobody had any sprout.

Glad to hear the Pink Okinawa are germinating. They're not doing much for me and I'm sowing them right from the seed pod!

Have the D. riparia seeds been confirmed as the real thing? I think that's one that is often misidentified. I actually messaged an ebay seller awhile back when I recognized his listed D. riparia was misidentified and he said he got the seeds from a seed bank, I think ICPS.

Assuming you're talking about the riparia I donated, the plants came from the Rainbow Carnivorous Plants Nursery. FWIW

Sorry, no. I haven't tried to germinate any. I can say that I had no luck with the adults until I moved them permanently under domes. So while they seem to be ok with normal indoor temps (plus a few degree for the domes + lights), they don't like household humidity levels.

@evenwind, how long have you had them for? I've had a number of sundews which I thought were dying in the window and needed really high humidity, but I had enough to keep them there anyways and also in a terrarium, and while the terrarium kept ones came back much faster, the window ones eventually caught up. It just took months though, and I thought they might die for a bit. I thought ultramafica had pretty strict requirements but now my best ones are in the window. (Full disclosure, it isn't an average window)

@sundewd, They were last repotted 9/24/20 and put under domes sometime after that. Right now, they seem to be happy and are filling little packets with seeds, so I'm probably going to let them be. I'll think about weaning them after the summer takes hold and the household has higher ambient humidity.

High germination rates with the new D. Binata "Small Red Form".

Anyone have luck with Dixie Lace? Both batches of mine failed to germinate.

I've had great success germinating the S. flava rubricorpa.

Finally, after being placed outside in the Florida heat, I saw these drosera germinating / sprouting. I’ll move them inside under a grow light / in a grow tent for a few weeks and then move the Drosera filiformis var floridana white outside. I’ll keep the humpty doo in the tent.

So now the only original one remaining that hasn’t germinated from the seed band is the “Fraser island” spatulata — been in a pot since 1/30/21
