What is wrong. No matter what my venus ends up here and I really want to solve this.

We have a covered porch... there’s only 2 hours of morning sun. As with my others, i only give it distilled water... from the bottom for about 45 min, and remove it. i used to feed one trap at a time every week one half a blood worm to make sure it wasn’t more than a 1/3 the size of the trap etc etc... now it’s May 17, and this is what it’s looking like. I live in New Hampshire.. its 75 degrees out its never been cold for this plant and it spent most of its time inside. I just don’t get it... is being in the shade too much? is it the pot??

Definitely light deprivation. They need the equivalent of 4 to 6 hours of direct full sunlight daily. The light you have is likely not strong enough. You might try it under that light for 16 hours a day and see if that gives it enough. The best thing you can do is to get it outside.

^^^^ What they said, it needs more light. I would suggest leaving it outside 25/8 as long as it stays above freezing. Even indirect natural light is better than most forms of artificial lighting.
Also, although it doesn't appear to have much, if any, mineral burn, is that pot glazed 100% inside?

I'd transition the plant someplace where it can get morning or afternoon direct sun for a couple weeks, the move it into full sun. VFT's need all the light they can get to look their best
