I don't sterilize them, just because I have access to pre-sterilized tubes. If you were to reuse tubes, I think hot soap and water would be sufficient (unless you have an autoclave). Honestly, I don't think sterilization should be too much of an issue :)

Fair enough. They're cheap enough I could always but more. I just don't like waste. No autoclave yet. Once I live somewhere else where I can start doing fungal tissue culture again I'll get one for sure.

I had a hard time putting seeds on slides without losing them. I should probably get a crystalizing dish. The tubes were just too opaque. Week one is done tomorrow.

Are there any alternatives to microcentifruge tubes?'Cuz I can just use a plastic container for the seeds.

Ok,I got some Drosera spatulata seeds coming in the mail from the seed bank,so I guess I'll try this method out.

The only species that has 0 germination is the ultrimafica, the rest have the saturated GA3 at the highest rate and the water close behind. Nothing from any of the 10ppm maxsea groups

Try it with only part of the seed pack. It's best to save some seeds as backup.
