Will removing the leaf pulling to inspect it harm the leaf?

When I did a pulling, I buried the white part under the soil. So if I remove the leaf from the soil to see if there are buds forming, will it harm the leaf?

Leave it alone. You'll know if it was successful if you get baby plants. If you see nothing, and the pulling deteriorated away, then it didn't take.

What ChefDean said ... believe me. I know it is killing you but now is the time for patience or one of those other virtues that the Chef is always spouting off about.
