Good morning friends.
I would like some assistance if you would.
Last year, I sent some seeds that were labeled as D. spatulata to one of our other members, and I, in turn, had received them from yet another member. I have high confidence the seeds were correctly labeled when sent to me.
The seeds had a lot of debris from the flower stalks, so I suggested to the member I sent them to that he sow them outside to help prevent mold. He did, and this is the result. Now, I see a boatload of spat seedlings, but there is an obvious difference in one plant. Can you guess which one? That is the one I'm asking about, I'm saying burmannii, but I'm not a Drosera expert. I also saw a much smaller one off to the right, partially covered by a spat, that may be a second. Your thoughts on the odd man out?
We're assuming a stray seed from the source I received the seeds from as I stored these in a cupboard, away from the seed bank seeds, and the member I sent them to only has Humpty Doo for burmannii.

Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes the reason is that I make bad decisions.
