Happy Friday everyone

Since it's Friday I thought it would be a good idea to pay a visit to Lowes
And I found a death cube on clearance for 4$, though I'd try salvage it

I'll be honest I did try to convince the Lowes employee to let me take it for free, lol that didn't work

Few questions:
1. Well is it salvageable? I'm do see some green and thr bulb seems live??

2. Do I cut the black leaves where it meets with color?

3. Do I need to top off with moss?

4. How's my repot job?

Looks good, but maybe scoot some of the media away from the crown of the plant.
Also, it looks like Lowes is getting some pretty ones lately. I snagged this bad boy a couple of weeks ago.

Unfortunately this was thr last one the have and it was outside, thr other ones are plant it yourself (seed, soil, moss)

How about now? Is this better for the crown?

That looks like a tad too much, but it should be fine.
Leave the black leaves alone until you can gently, very gently, tug on it and it comes off. However, it is a wet environment, so cut it off if it starts to mold.

Since you just got the flytrap from Lowe's, you need to acclimate it back to direct sun. Give it 1 hour of morning sun per day for the 1st week, 2 hours per day for the 2nd week, and so on until it's getting 6+ hours of sun every day.

After 1 hour I should move it under the shade right?
