D. Capensis is virtually indestructable! It can tolerate extremely high temps after a good acclimation process (California dude here). All you'd have to do is watch out for sunburns (usually large red blotches) but besides this, just make sure they're watered. :)

I've never had a spatualata... :cry: I'm planning to get one soon as well! :D
I do beleive spatulata is a tad bit more sensitive to sunlight and heat. Not 100% sure about it but it should be beginner friendly. I mean, as long as you don't fry it, it should be fine.

The largest trap is an 1 1/4 inch long, so I don't think it is a king henry, but maybe I got lucky. Also, how did you see that I bought it from Sarracenia NW?

Man, my typical flytrap is half the size of yours. Luckily, I got a real King Henry from another seller. Its basically the same size, I'm hoping to get some larger traps by feeding it.
