single plant or clump

by PitcherCrab » Wed Dec 30, 2009 3:28 am

I am looking to buy some VFTs and saw on a couple of sites single plants and clumps of 4-5. I am leaning towards getting a clump of um so I have a few to play around with, so they can cross pollinate when it comes time for that aaaaand more traps looks way cooler :D . Is this a good instinct? Is there any reason it would be better for me to just get a single plant (other than price)?

I would rather buy a single plant because I can watch it grow into a clump, and the price is better (lol.)

I always like to buy smaller plants because you can watch it grow.

A clump looks cool though.

Is it pretty easy to separate the plants from each other?

Yes, it should be, but Venus flytrap's can grow close together. I would go with the clump! Just like what Kelly said they are awesome! a lot more mouths!

When it comes to plants i have 2 specific rules i go by:

1) Grow your own!

2)If you are new to CPs OR you CAN'T grow your own...buy as many as you can!!!

Follow these steps and happiness shall soon follow. :)
