Hello, it's been ages since I last grew flytraps so I began trying to test out if the water around my house was good for venus fly traps. Anyways, the ppm of the rainwater outside of my house is around 10-25 ppm, but I've heard people say that rainwater is too acidic for venus fly traps? The ppm of the bottled water I drink is surprisingly only 40 ppm (Poland Springs) but I'm unsure if I should still use it because it's not distilled or reverse osmosis. Any thoughts?

One thing that bothers me is the T in TDS. Total... Total Dissolved Solids. I imagine some dissolved solids are more harmful than others for CPs. But I agree with what ChefDean meant to say. If your water is LESS THAN 50 parts per million TDS, you should be okay. (Not greater than 50, as he accidentally indicated).

I wonder if those people ever thought about where the wild flytraps get their water....
