Hi Tiffany! Could you please provide me with an email address? You can try PMing it to me first if you like. I don't know what is up with my PMs today. I've never had problems with sent PMs not opening until today. :?

Hi silverfly! I’m so glad to see the plants made it to you safe and sound! :D

To encourage Dana to grow, I would raise her up in the soil a bit so that the top of her rhizome is exposed to sunlight. Sunlight hitting a sarr’s rhizome really stimulates plant growth! :D

For reference, this is what Dana looked like in her temporary holding cup prior to shipment.

"Dana's Delight" is a beautiful, vigorous cultivar. Her hot pink-to-burgundy colored pitchers never fail to catch the eye of every passerby when she is in full growth mode. Enjoy! :D

Yes, please raise the plant higher in the soil. It seems very low. Sarracenia NW has a great YouTube video on planting Sarracenia rhizomes https://youtu.be/GeXWfpfKNYA

Ok. So I raised her up and tried to brush off the soil around the rhizome. Image

Chef and Supercazzola are correct. It would be best to raise Dana even higher. You want some of that woodier part behind the growing point exposed to sunlight in order to encourage robust growth and vibrant pitcher color. :D
