Updated the list with recent Sarracenia purchases.

Updated the list with Venus flytrap 'Long Red Fingers'.

Updated the list with Sarracenia alata var. rubrioperculata and S. flava var. atropurpurea.

Man, if you are going to share these cool names, you should at least share pictures.

I went eBay hunting for those two. I had to Google the alata plant to see what it looks like (on the rhizome that I received, the pitchers are clipped at 3 inches tall). Here is a pic of the alata, and here is a pic of the flava.

The eBay seller (in New Jersey) still has 3 of the alata divisions left, if you want one. Another seller in California has them, too. The flava v. atropurpurea plants aren't commonly for sale and take a bit of timing and luck to get one.

By some miracle, the planets aligned perfectly, and I was able to get my hands on some Sarracenia oreophila! They only have phyllodia now, can't wait for the first pitchers to appear.

I also added two Venus flytraps cultivars: BCP Titan and SD Draco.

I just bought 3 of these from Lee's Botanical Garden in Labelle, Florida. They were only $8 each (sold as "purpurea venosa var rosea Chipola"), and the plants were much bigger than I expected. Most other places would sell them for $20 a pop.

I picked up a couple Bimbos (flytraps, that is...).

Congrats!! This is one of the best giant clones to come out of the EU, in my opinion!

I added a Sarracenia rosea 'Fat Chance' to my collection, found a nice one at a local nursery.
