Hello everyone. I am very new to carnivorous plants. I recieved one as a gift months ago with a lot of trial and error and I would love to learn more about it aswell as other carnivorous plants. I live in zone 10b so tropical plants have been a huge part of my life but not carnivorous plants, that is more north of the state where they grow naturally.

Matt, our Admin here, has posted a good "Care and Feeding" guide here: www.flytrapcare.com.
I'm mostly a Drosera grower in the far frozen north.

Welcome. I’m just 200 miles or so from you in zone 9b. So is Apollyon. I know some folks down your way in the area near Robert is Here that grow many CPs outdoors in the heat. Hope your journey in this hobby is as rewarding as mine is. The people on this site as well as Matt and Leah (owners of Fly Trap Store ) really are the best and are very helpful.
