To compare it to something else... its like TeamSpeak and Skype mixed together. Generally Discord is used for gamers, but recently people of all interests have started using it.

Trying to join! When I click through the link above it asks me to verify my account but I don't recall ever setting up an account on Discord. I possibly could have at some point for something work-related but don't recall doing so.

When I try to verify my account by email, it asks for my password which I have no idea what it would be. And there doesn't seem to be any other way to verify the account.

What am I doing wrong (other than being too old!! )???

@Carnies, the interesting thing is it doesn't prompt me to create an account. I see "Invalid Invite" when I click on the link. Then I follow the "Continue to Discord" button and I see "Something's Going on Here -- we need to verify your account"

OK, that's fine. So I click on "VERIFY BY EMAIL" and it asks me for both an email address and password but as far as I know I've never had an account before so I don't have a password....

Try going to discord nornalky through your browser to do the password reset, it shouldnt ask for your password then. If you dont think you have made an account, just make one ajd then try the invite link again.
