I have a tuberous dew that put out two plants from the same tuber. This is basically my first year growing tuberous dews so I have a question. One of the two plants it put out died off. The other is still alive and going strong. My question is, did the one that died off, form a tuber/go back into its original tuber, and if it did create a new tuber, should I worry about it rotting because the soil is still wet?

Yes, a second growth point does mean a second tuber. I wouldn't worry about the tuber rotting (in fact it can take a month or two for it to completely form after the plant dies back.) Just pay attention to the plant that's still growing for dormancy timing.
