Had a pair of d.spatulata(right?) When i bought it was red, i split them up to 2 artificial lights, click & grow vs others LED grow light in terrarium. Terrarium piece leaves turns green but under click & grow light its still reddish. Is turning green good? Lack of lights? No good? Or doesnt matter? Personally i like it red.

PS: terrarium piece was already turning green before the flower stalk shoot out

Doesnt really matter. The red comes from bright lighting. Its normal, green is good too as long as it is producing dew. Both of those look really nice. If you like the red, put them both under the light that kept the one red.

Actually, it looks like a D. burmannii. I think they tend to turn color when fed a lot and turn back when not. I can't remember which color means fed and which not, offhand though.

Thanks for the comment, good to know. I intend to let the one flower, hopefully it doesnt die on me after.

Ah i think you are right on the name. With regards to feeding, i read somewhere, VFT trap will be more red if not fed regularly to attract insects, so it should be this way then.
However i fed both with dried bloodworm usually once a week. Anyway they are less than a month old after i bought.
