Yes I started this in the year 2020 but I’ve been growing flytraps for 4 years, my collection unfortunately is no more. So I started this one! I’ll be sure to make it last as long as I do lol

Hi Adrien, great VFT collection! I’m curious about your GJ Goliath. There isn’t much info out there about this cultivar. After a growing season with it, what are your impressions; i.e., vigor, health, appearance, etc? Thanks for any info, Eric

Hey, for me it made really short leaves with consistently large, long traps with medium length cilia. Here’s a before and after, the before pic is from may 17th 2020 and the after was taken in September 9th 2020. I wouldn’t count this as an actual comparison because it has gone through a lot of condition changes, I can give a better explanation next year. I’m pretty sure most of my plants where dormant during summer cause of my photoperiod differences from indoors to outdoors. For the time I’ve had it, it seemed to be really slow grower, as you see in the pics, ESPECIALLY compared to DCXL.

Thanks for the Goliath review and the pics! We all love pics. I’ve heard they are pretty vigorous so I suspect it will jump to life for you in the spring. I’ll probably hit you up next year for a progress report. Thanks again, Eric

Can't go wrong with either of those two! They both have awesome plants.

In addition, Jacob and Jeff of Sarracenia Northwest are great people and run a great business. The same is true of Jeremiah. He's one of the nicest dudes in the CP hobby, and this hobby is largely filled with lots of nice people!
